DPC11 channels have mic & line inputs with analogue inserts on the analogue inputs, each channel also has 4 band parametric EQ, a Noise Gate, a Compressor and a motorized automated fader. There are also as many Aux buses as you will ever need, let me explain : the DPC 11 has 'soft' busing which allows the user to set up how many mono & stereo buses plus group buses you need for your session, maximum 39 buses.
It is a very versatile mixer with every function being automated it has dynamic and snap shot automation available. If expanded to a 4 MADI rack system this little 16 fader console would be able to control up to 160 audio channels
The DPC11 is a digital recording and live mixing console that uses MADI format digital signals - it comes with a MADI rack that can be fitted with analogue and digital inputs which are converted to MADI format signals ( max 56 i/o ) and connected to the console using a single coaxial cable.
This particular mixer comes with a MADI rack fitted with 24 analogue inputs and 16 analogue outputs, it also has 16 AES/EBU inputs and 16 AES/EBU outputs. The MADI rack can accommodate a maximum of 7 input cards and 7 output cards, each card handles 8 signals so a fully fitted MADI rack can provide a maximum of 56 inputs and 56 outputs.
A DPC 11 console can connect to a maximum of 4 MADI racks therefore up to 224 input and outputs can be connected to the DPC11 mixer. The DPC11 can process a maximum of 160 inputs at a time.
