The industry standard pro studio large diaphragm vocal microphone is in good condition and comes complete with suspension mount and wooden case all as pictured.

The U 87 Ai is equipped with a large dual-diaphragm capsule with three directional patterns: omni-directional, cardioid and figure-8. These are selectable using a switch below the head grille. 

A -10 dB attenuation switch is located on the rear. It enables the microphone to handle sound pressure levels up to 127 dB without distortion. there is also a bass filter to remove low frequency rumble.

This particular microphone has been serviced by a Neumann specialist during which the capsule was re-skinned
