CADAC A SERIES with MARINAIRES

CADAC A SERIES WITH MARINAIR TRANSFORMERS

This lovely console has a great reputation for high audio quality, similar to a 1970's Neve. We are currently in the process of recapping and servicing it and preparing it for installation in your studio.

There are 15 Mic/Line inputs plus 4 Effects returns there 10 Sub-Groups with Marinair transformers on the outputs, there are also 10 Main groups fitted with Lindahl transformers on the outputs. How does that work ? The input channels can be routed to the Sub-Groups with the Marinairs to feed your DAW with high quality signals, further summing for the mix etc can be achieived by routing the Sub Group outputs to the Main Groups

The input channels are quipped with superb mic pr-amps plus 3 band fully parametric EQ, each band has variable boost/cut, variable bandwidth and variable frequency, there is also a high pass filter with variable crossover frequency, plus 6 Aux busses and 2 Effects sends plus Penny & Giles fader and routing to the 10 subgroups.

The channel direct outputs and insert sends and returns are on flying leads terminated with Male XLR's however these could be substituted with a patchbay of your choosing

CADAC A SERIES CONSOLES ARE RENOWNED FOR THEIR SUPERB SOUND AND WERE THE FIRST MODEL THAT CADAC MANUFACTURED AFTER THE G SERIES WHICH WAS  USED TO RECORD MANY UK HITS IN THE 1970'S. WE HAVE EXPORTED CADAC CONSOLES TO MANY COUNTRIES, ONE CUSTOMER FROM NEW JERSEY IN THE US SAID IT WAS THE SOUND HE HAD BEEN WAITING FOR FOR MANY YEARS AND GOT US TO BUILD HIM AN EXTENSION

Call us for a demo.
