I first sold this console around 30 years ago when I was the sole UK Distributor for Soundtracs. I sold it to the previous owner who was a piano player with his own home studio. Although it is around 30 years old it is in remarkable condition, it obviously has had very little use as none of the painted legends have rubbed off. It has been tested by Gwyn Mathias and is in full working order. It comes with a power supply, stand and a set of Edac cables. At £ 4,750 it is an absolute bargain.
Features
The IL ( stands for In Line ) has 2 inputs per module,
This being a 48 channel console has 48 Mic/Line inputs plus 48 monitor inputs, total 96 inputs.
Each channel has 4 band parametric EQ which can be used on the main mic/line input or split between the main and monitor inputs.
Unusually the EQ can also be applied to the output groups.
It has an integral bantam patchbay with 96 tie line sockets
The IL 4832 has 8 aux buses, 1&2 are stereo while 3 - 8 are mono, it is also possible to use the monitor pot and sub groups as a further aux send to 32 buses.
All inputs and outputs are connected to the console via 56 way EDAC connectors
The IL48/32 has a punchy sound and was preferred by some to the Jade.
