The D222E was manufactured in the 1970's - 1980's. It is similar in form and design to the D222E but is reduced IN size and weight. Like the D202E the 2 capsules in the D222E eliminates the proximity effect

The D202E was popular with reporters conducting outside interviews for radio and TV but it was quite heavy and cumbersome hence the arrival of the D222E. This one is in nice condition.
