AUDIENT 8024

This very nice console is in super condition and ready to install, it can accommodate 36 In Line modules as can be seen in the pictures here or 12 channels can be replaced by an optional Dual Layer Control providing digital interface for a DAW system, visit cloudfront.net to download the Manual. When the Dual Layer Control panel is fitted there will be 24 analogue In Line channels available 

The ASP 8024 is an In Line console providing 4 band EQ with parametric Mid section, 24 Groups and 12 Aux buses. It comes with a printed manual however if you would like to download a copy of the manual visit cloudfront.net 

Being an In Line this console can accommodate 2 inputs per channel plus there are 12 aux returns. Total 84 inputs.

It is very easy to install the 8024, the outputs to your recorder or DAW system are via D Sub connectors, all other connections are via XLRs for the mics and TRS jack for the rest. There are insert sends and returns on most signal paths and a very comprehensive master section with sends to 4 sets of monitor speakers with a compressor on the stereo bus.

The Audient ASP 8024 is an easy to use, versatile mixer at a reasonable price which is most probably the reason why it is found in many Colleges and Universities in the UK, I would suggest more than any other console.

As you can see the previous owner replaced the original armrest with with a custom armrest which has room for a laptop. I have been told, but cannot prove, that the first owner of this console was Pete Townshend. He is certainly an Audient fan who has owned a few 8024 Audient consoles, if you care to visit the Audient web site there is a video of him on the 8024 section rabbiting on about the 8024.
