SOUNDTRACS SOLITAIRE

SOUNDTRACS 40 Channels - 80 Automated Inputs - Noise Gate and Compressor on every channel 

This console has Level & Mute Automation on every channel and on every monitor input, total 88 automated faders including the effects returns.

Being an In Line console it has 2 inputs per module, 40 channels = 80 inputs. The main inputs are for Mic or Line inputs routable to the 24 groups and stereo mix bus. The secondary monitor inputs are used to monitor the group outputs and the recorder returns and can route to the stereo mix bus, they can also be used as summing inputs if you are using a DAW and/or to introduced additional signals into the stereo bus

The main inputs are provided with Soundtracs' patented 4 band FdB EQ, this consists of 4 swept bands with the 2 mids being able to be switched into the monitor path. The secondary monitor inputs are fitted with Hi & Lo shelving EQ and can also use the 2 mid sections on the main input.

AUTOMATION

There are 84 faders on the Solitaire, 80 mono and 4 stereo, all of which can be automated. All the faders are controlled by the same integral Soundtracs Automation system which also controls the programmable muting. Fader levels can be continually updated and fine tuned until you obtain the optimum mix. Current mixes are stored within the console, mixes can also be stored on a Midi enabled laptop using Midi Dump.

DYNAMICS

The 40 main inputs are each equipped with a Compressor, Noise Gates & Expanders with full control over attack and release times, thresholds, compression ratios etc. Intelligent use of the dynamics can also provide Pan & Triggered Pan. 

IN GENERAL

There are 8 Aux buses plus 4 stereo FX returns which have VCA automated faders, every input is equipped with pfl with a global In Place Solo switch. The master section contains the automated Stereo Mix Fader, plus the Assignable Dynamics controller and the Automation Controller plus control room and studio playback levels. The console also comes with a very comprehensive bantam patchbay. Apart from the microphone inputs which are XLR all the inputs and outputs are accessible from the remote patchbay or plugged in direct into the rear of the console, the console comes with some looms but not a complete set. All Mic & Line inputs plus the buses are balanced providing superior audio specifications. 

The console comes with its original power supply - also available a Blue Dog power supply for an additional £300 

This console has had 1 owner from new, we supplied it to him when we were the UK distributor s in the 1990's it has been very well maintained, the owner had the automation and dynamics electronics serviced by Studio Systems. Their trusty electronics expert Neville had all the boards and dynamics for a full service, which it needed. Has fitted all new batteries on the boards.

Over the past 45 years I have sold hundreds of recording consoles, some new and some used, all of these consoles would have been supplied with a manual and a cover, when we buy a used console from a client we rarely receive either manual or cover. This console comes with both, Manual and a Cover

This console provides a lot for the money, it can be demonstrated by appointment at our premises near Bedford
