CALREC S2

It was our intention to sell this console in buckets if it was not sold by the end of the month however we now have some SSL buckets of modules coming in so we have dropped the price of this lovely console to just £ 9,950, a real bargain.

This partially recapped console comes with bantam patchbays and cables which cost the previous owner £ 7,000. It is in great condition and ready to install.

This console is in prime condition it has been refurbished by Gareth Connor, a Calrec specialist. 

Calrec like Neve are broadcast quality and were chosen by the BBC.

The Calrec S2 is unique in that all of the 48 input slots can accommodate mono or stereo input modules. It is currently fitted with 27 Stereo mic/line modules and 21 Mono mic/line modules with 1 mic and 2 line inputs. There are also direct outputs from each module. 

The console has direct outputs plus 4 stereo output groups plus a 16 way Multitrack output section. All inputs, groups, aux's and master compressors are equipped with level meters. Further groups can be available at extra cost..

It is a great sounding console that can be tried and heard at our premises near Bedford UK. These are very high specification consoles designed for Post Production and broadcast however they are just as comfortable being used in a music studio, they are well worth consideration.

To aid mixing the 48 channel desk has VCA sub-grouping, there are 8 VCA master faders that can be used to control the levels and mutes of the 48 channel faders and 4 stereo group faders. There are also 10 aux buses, 6 mono and two stereo.

The desk has 2 main stereo outputs with stereo compressors on each of the 2 stereo mix busses; there are also 4 stereo compressors in the meter bridge that can be plugged into any of the stereo input modules.

There are numerous external 2 track inputs in the monitor selection panel.

Comes with 9 x 96 way bantam patchbays plus a full set of Edac Cables ( the patchbays and cables alone cost over £ 7,000 )
